Located to the south of Hakuba Valley, Kashimayari Snow Resort is a great place to spend a day. It is a fun, progressive ski resort that makes everyone feel very welcome.

People arriving from Tokyo will generally catch a shuttle from Shinano Omachi Station and access from the south-west, while those coming from Hakuba will generally get on the lifts at on the Yanaba/Nakazuna side of the resort to the East, and take the #6 quad lift up to the central area.

The resort has an unusual layout, and goes in several directions. The main base center is in a gully with slopes going off to the north and south, and then there is the eastern slope that runs down to Yanaba area. And the run from the north summit to the Yanaba base is long enough to get ever the fittest peoples heart racing.
